Mais surtout, il est vieux et souffrant. Sa maladie risque de lui être fatale.

Un général de passage avec sa fille et un lieutenant est attaqué par des indiens. La cavalerie intervient et les sauve. La fille du général tombe aussitôt amoureuse du Lt Masters. Elle devient du coup un peu trop… collante.
