Résumé

Le roi d'Angleterre Richard II est appelé à régler une discorde entre ses deux cousins, Henri Bolingbroke, duc de Lancaster et Thomas Mowbray, duc de Norfolk. Il leur ordonne de s'affronter en duel. Le jour venu, le roi interrompt le duel et bannit ses cousins du pays…
