Résumé

Danny, un jeune orphelin placé en foyer, recueille un chien qu'il pense abandonné. Bientôt, il découvre que l'animal n'est autre que Teddy, le chien que le président des Etats-Unis a perdu au cours d'un déplacement pour une cérémonie officielle. Personne ne croyant Danny lorsqu'il explique que l'animal appartient au chef de l'Etat, le jeune garçon décide de le lui rendre par tous les moyens possibles. Mais la Maison Blanche est bien loin du foyer d'accueil de Danny, qui va devoir parcourir, en compagnie de Teddy, des milliers de kilomètres…
